Shape the Future of Digital Twin Technology at ZEISS
At ZEISS Corporate Research, we explore technologies that shape future ZEISS products. We are looking for a motivated student passionate about software engineering, C++, automation, and intelligent developer tools to help build the software foundation of an in-house digital twin platform.

Develop robust, reusable software components in modern C++
Design APIs, interfaces, and software architecture
Build and maintain workflows (build, packaging, deployment) and improve CI/CD with GitHub Enterprise/Actions
Implement automated tests (unit, integration, system) and maintain Python wheels/bindings for C++ libraries
Automate documentation generation/publication and explore agentic workflows for software development, testing, documentation, and productivity
Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate software into ongoing projects, document architectural decisions, and present your work
требования
Enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related program
Strong programming skills in modern C++
Good understanding of software engineering, modular design, and architecture
Interest in testing, CI/CD, code quality, and developer tooling
Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development
Interest in AI-assisted development or agentic systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Good English communication skills
Experience with unit/integration testing and CMake/C++ packaging
Familiarity with Python bindings or wheels from C++
Knowledge of documentation/deployment/release automation
Some exposure to GPU tech (Vulkan/CUDA) or game engine programming
