SAP HANA Cloud developer

The team develops data models, pipelines, and backend solutions for business processes and analytics in manufacturing, engineering, and operations environments.

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable data models in SAP HANA Cloud
• Analyze logic and workflows from Databricks, Alteryx, and KNIME and translate them into native SAP HANA Cloud artifacts
• Analyze performance, optimize queries, reduce memory footprint, and evaluate execution plans to achieve sub-second latency on large operational datasets
• Maintain, enhance, and optimize backend services for enterprise applications, including HADES list apps and downstream reporting engines
• Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineering stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical specifications
• Establish best practices for HANA modeling, code reviews, and CI/CD data lifecycle management
• Mentor team members and drive standard operating procedures
• Identify architectural bottlenecks and edge-case issues before they affect operational pipelines

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of and hands-on experience with HANA Cloud
• Experience translating Databricks, Alteryx, or KNIME models into HANA Cloud
• Experience with HANA Cloud optimization techniques
• Experience working with HADES list apps
• Ability to work with business analysts and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Proactive approach to resolving issues
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2)
