• Communicate regularly with internal users about their needs and ideas
• Understand the workflows of all teams involved in trading
• Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion mechanisms, internal data processing and presentation frameworks, and in-memory query engines
• Present data clearly, usefully, and accurately in collaboration with frontend developers
• Maintain the calculation of trading metrics
• Build software that runs reliably 24/7
• Participate in the on-call rota

• Communicate effectively with technical stakeholders, understand user needs, gather feature requirements, and prioritize them according to business needs
• Be algorithmically literate and able to write efficient code
• Be familiar with distributed systems and reason about consistency and delays
• Have at least 5 years of professional coding experience with Java or C++
• Be willing to learn Kotlin
• Be skilled in writing automated tests
• Care about reducing complexity, correctness, and reliability
• Be proactive about taking responsibility
