Bees & Bears is a Climate FinTech that unlocks capital for the energy transition. It enables customers of climate hardware installers, including solar, energy storage, and heat pump providers, to finance installations through monthly installments. Its platform provides the technical and financial foundation for sustainable energy financing.

• Collaborate on the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the web application;
• Work autonomously and contribute to architectural decisions alongside the team;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build impactful solutions for the climate sector;
• Improve development workflows and contribute to an efficient, high-performance engineering culture;
• Leverage AI coding tools to ship faster while maintaining high code quality.

• Have at least 5+ years of software development experience;
• Demonstrate strong expertise in React, Python, FastAPI, Redux Toolkit, and TanStack Router;
• Use AI coding tools comfortably to accelerate development;
• Have experience building AI-powered features;
• Have experience developing complex forms with react-hook-form and zod;
• Ensure responsive and frictionless user journeys;
• Demonstrate proficiency in Tailwind CSS and modern UI development practices;
• Evaluate hype against real business value;
• Understand Docker, AWS, and cloud-native architecture;
• Have experience debugging and resolving production issues;
• Have led large, complex projects from beginning to end;
• Have excellent English communication skills;
• Nice to have: experience with distributed teams.
