react for an AI knowledge platform

TextCortex AI develops an AI knowledge platform that helps organizations harness AI. Its product serves over 2 million users.

• Lead the design and implementation of intuitive, responsive UIs for the AI knowledge platform using React and TypeScript;
• Own feature development end to end, from translating user needs into concepts and architectural design through polished releases, including web app interfaces and Chrome extension features;
• Write maintainable code and unit tests, conduct peer code reviews, and optimize frontend performance and scalability;
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and influence overall architecture;
• Improve frontend tooling and developer experience, and automate processes using new technologies and AI coding agents;
• Mentor junior developers and foster a high-quality engineering culture.

• 5+ Years of experience or equivalent skill building modern web applications with React;
• Strong TypeScript skills and a focus on type-safe, well-structured code;
• Deep understanding of state management, component design, frontend architecture, and performance optimization;
• Commitment to code quality, testing critical logic, and constructive code reviews;
• Strong UI/UX sensibility and empathy for end users;
• Ability to debug issues across the stack, use browser developer tools and performance profiling, and resolve asynchronous bugs and memory leaks in complex SPAs;
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks;
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach;
• Proactive, adaptable, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership from planning through release and monitoring;
• Curious and willing to learn new tools and concepts and share knowledge with the team;
• Nice to have: experience with AI-based development tools, Node.js, REST or GraphQL APIs, or cloud infrastructure; side projects or open-source contributions.
