Almetra develops ethical AI software for the manufacturing industry.

• Develop and maintain backend features and APIs for the core platform;
• Improve database performance, reliability, and real-time data processing;
• Debug, profile, and optimize code to maintain low latency and system stability;
• Collaborate with AI, frontend, and product teams to integrate new capabilities;
• Contribute to architectural decisions and shape the evolution of the backend stack.

• 5-7 Years of experience building production-grade backends;
• Proficiency in Python;
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling (PostgreSQL or similar);
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud environments (AWS preferred);
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of problems;
• Startup mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency;
• Nice to have: Linux debugging and performance tuning, familiarity with orchestration (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible), experience with data pipelines or analytical databases, interest in edge/cloud hybrid architectures.
