• Build, iterate, test, and deploy new features and products with engineers, designers, and management teams;

• Participate in resolving production issues and lead solution efforts;
• Maintain legacy applications and participate in migration to newer technologies when needed;
• Collaborate on research to find solutions to system bugs and issues.

• 5+ Years of professional software development experience;
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns;
• Advanced proficiency in Python 3.12+ for software or data engineering;
• Experience with MongoDB, ideally with Beanie ODM (async), for the persistence layer;
• Experience with OAuth/OIDC and JWT authentication through Keycloak and Descope;
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose;
• Mastery of REST API design and FastAPI (async);
• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Expertise in cloud services;
• Experience with event-driven microservices and identity management/OAuth;
• Experience with observability, tracing, and other cloud-native patterns;
• English at B2 Upper Intermediate level;
• Nice to have: Healthcare interoperability resources including FHIR R4 and SMART Health Links/Cards, JWE decryption, pytest and Cucumber/Playwright E2E testing, QR/image decoding with pyzbar/zbar, storage connector integration with Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, SMTP, and FHIR servers, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Apache Kafka, AWS Secrets Manager.
