The company is an Amsterdam-based product company in the recommerce and circular economy space. It processes large volumes of physical items, imagery, historical valuations, and market data, and develops technology to make appraisal smarter while supporting human expertise.

• Build Python services and APIs;
• Process image and product data;
• Develop computer vision and image recognition solutions;
• Implement similarity search and item matching;
• Work on OCR and multimodal AI;
• Build AI/ML features that support valuation and identification;
• Turn experiments into production-ready tools;
• Influence what gets built and how.

• Strong commercial Python experience;
• Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar;
• Experience with APIs, backend systems, and SQL databases;
• Experience with Docker and AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Experience taking software from idea to production;
• Exposure to AI/ML in production environments;
• Curious, naturally problem-solving, and comfortable with open-ended technical challenges;
• Product-minded, pragmatic, hands-on, and comfortable working closely with domain experts;
• Keen to take ownership;
• Nice to have: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, computer vision, OCR, image embeddings, similarity search, Hugging Face, RAG, LLM applications, experience in AI, computer vision, robotics, IoT, e-commerce, marketplaces, or product-led startups/scale-ups.
