Polcode is a Poland-based software house that has worked with clients worldwide since 2006. It builds web, mobile, and eCommerce products for startups and established companies across Europe, the US, and beyond.

• Independently build payment modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce;
• Integrate e-commerce platforms with a payment gateway via REST API;
• Implement payment flows, transaction statuses, refunds, and webhooks;
• Build configuration options for store administrators;
• Make pragmatic architecture and implementation decisions independently;
• Take responsibility for security, code quality, and platform compatibility;
• Work closely with the Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer;
• Use AI tools as part of the development workflow;
• Deliver production-ready modules within the agreed project scope.

• Senior-level PHP skills and strong commercial e-commerce experience;
• Hands-on experience building PrestaShop modules;
• Experience developing WordPress / WooCommerce plugins;
• Strong experience with REST API and payment gateway integrations;
• Good understanding of payment flows, webhooks, error handling, and security;
• High level of independence and comfort being the sole developer on the project;
• Ability to make technical decisions and drive implementation without day-to-day technical guidance;
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills;
• Experience with unit testing of key integration logic;
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to support software development;
• Availability to start in the second half of August;
• Nice to have: Experience with Polish payment methods, especially BLIK and pay-by-link, a payment module or plugin in your portfolio, JavaScript experience related to checkout flows or WooCommerce Blocks, experience preparing modules/plugins for distribution and platform validation, good command of English.

• Project-based cooperation for approximately 4–5 weeks;
• Availability to start in the second half of August is required;
• B2B cooperation at 100-130 PLN/H + VAT;
