• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP 8+ and Vue.js;
• Build and integrate backend services with MongoDB and MySQL;
• Develop and optimize asynchronous and distributed systems using RabbitMQ and Redis;
• Implement and maintain search solutions using Elasticsearch or OpenSearch;
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define features and technical solutions;
• Participate in architectural decisions following Domain-Driven Design principles;
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code;
• Apply Test-Driven Development practices;
• Maintain code quality using PHPUnit, PHPStan, Code Sniffer, and similar tools;
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment;
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure;
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible;
• Work with containerized environments using Docker;
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance and reliability;
• Take ownership of tasks within a Kanban-based workflow;
• Independently drive features and technical tasks from concept to production;
• Maintain clear communication and visibility of progress.

• Strong commercial experience with PHP (4+ years);
• Strong experience with modern backend development practices;
• Solid frontend development experience with Vue.js;
• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB;
• Strong practical understanding of Domain-Driven Design;
• Experience with RabbitMQ;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible;
• Experience with Redis;
• Experience with MySQL;
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch;
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS;
• Proficiency working in Linux environments;
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
• Strong testing mindset;
• Practical experience with PHPUnit and Test-Driven Development;
• Familiarity with PHPStan, Code Sniffer, and other static-analysis tools;
• Experience working with Docker;
• Experience working within a Kanban process;
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery;
• Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills;
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Practical commercial experience with PHP, Vue.js, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Domain-Driven Design, and Terraform and/or Ansible;
• Nice to have: experience with microservices architecture, experience with event-driven systems, familiarity with Docker Swarm or another container orchestration tool, experience with CircleCI, experience with Datadog, knowledge of frontend performance optimization, experience with modern frontend build tools, experience working with high-load or high-availability systems, understanding of web application security best practices, experience mentoring or leading other developers, familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Junie, prompt-engineering experience.
