Node.js Developer

TechMagic develops a mature, mission-critical SaaS platform for the aviation industry. The platform supports document management, regulatory compliance, and core operational processes for over 13,000 active users worldwide.

• Take ownership of key areas of an established Node.js backend platform, ensuring reliability and performance;
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs;
• Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform evolves;
• Manage and configure cloud infrastructure, including servers, networking, deployments, scaling, and monitoring;
• Work hands-on with AWS services, particularly ECS, to deploy and run containerized applications;
• Collaborate with the team on new feature development while maintaining and improving existing systems;
• Drive engineering best practices across the codebase and infrastructure.

• 5+ Years of professional software development experience;
• Strong experience with Node.js;
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases;
• Hands-on practical experience with AWS infrastructure, including setup, configuration, and management;
• Experience with Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS);
• Experience configuring and managing servers, networking, deployments, scaling, and monitoring;
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications;
• Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture and distributed systems;
• Confidence taking ownership of infrastructure decisions;
• English B2+;
• Nice to have: AWS Lambda.
