The client is a reinsurance and risk management company delivering solutions across insurance, underwriting, and data-driven risk assessment. It focuses on innovation and long-term stability to help clients address complex risks and create sustainable value.

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend software applications;
• Design and integrate technological components across systems;
• Write structured, testable, and efficient code for backend services and APIs;
• Take technical ownership of solutions and contribute to architecture and design decisions;
• Provide technical guidance to the development team and align work with engineering best practices and coding standards;
• Perform and facilitate code reviews to support code quality, maintainability, and performance;
• Mentor and support developers, sharing technical knowledge and helping solve complex technical challenges;
• Collaborate with clients on technical solutions and contribute ideas to enhance the platform;
• Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Contribute to technical documentation, including instructional guides, pitch materials, and technical specifications;
• Work closely with Agile Scrum teams in accordance with Agile principles and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
• At least 7 years of experience as a Backend Software Developer, including technical leadership or ownership responsibilities;
• Strong experience with C# .NET Core, 5, 6, 7, 8 or newer, and .NET Framework;
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Service Bus, and ARM templates;
• Experience developing RESTful Microservices in C# using .NET Core;
• Solid understanding of Azure PaaS Services, including App Service, App Insights, and CosmosDB;
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, clean code principles, and engineering best practices;
• Experience providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting other developers;
• Very good English communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment;
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and Agile environment;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English;
• Nice to have: experience with Angular and TypeScript, familiarity with Azure DevOps, YAML Pipelines, Docker, Terraform, and Helm, experience contributing to solution architecture or technical design of distributed/cloud-based systems, previous experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar technical ownership role.
