.net developer for insurance systems

The project modernizes legacy applications for an insurance company in Germany by migrating existing code to newer technology versions while improving code quality, maintainability, and alignment with business requirements.

• Migrate and modernize existing legacy code;
• Ensure code quality and maintainability;
• Align technical solutions with business requirements;
• Understand, analyze, and work with business and technical requirements;
• Work in distributed and remote teams;
• Collaborate with the project team.

• Strong commercial experience with .NET;
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure;
• Microsoft certification;
• Important experience in the insurance domain;
• Proven experience with legacy application and code migration and modernization;
• Good knowledge of Git;
• Practical experience with GitHub Copilot and understanding of AI-assisted development;
• Experience working in distributed and remote teams;
• Good communication and collaboration skills;
• German at minimum B1 or English at B2;
• Ability to work with German documentation.

• Hourly rate around 35 usd.h.
