.net developer for cloud platforms

The company develops cloud-based .NET platforms that provide secure end-user services, internal case management, client reporting, and live integrations with third-party financial systems.

• Own significant parts of the platform from initial design through release and post-release support;
• Assess technical debt in a mature C# codebase and prioritize remediation;
• Lead larger refactoring and re-architecture initiatives;
• Own the data layer and external integrations as the platform scales;
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for developed services;
• Manage releases and respond to release issues;
• Raise engineering standards through code review, mentoring, and technical example;
• Use AI-assisted tooling while retaining ownership of delivered output.

• Deep commercial experience with C# on a .NET codebase;
• Experience owning live software, including planning releases, investigating incidents, and fixing production issues;
• Proven performance optimization experience across C# and data layers;
• Experience with Entity Framework or EF Core, SQL Server, and Azure SQL;
• Experience designing APIs and services with ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core;
• Experience with mentoring and code review;
• Hands-on Azure experience with Functions, WebJobs, Blob Storage, and Application Insights;
• Experience with CI/CD and automated build and deployment;
• Experience writing and maintaining tests;
• Secure development experience in environments handling sensitive data;
• Nice to have: regulated environments, major refactoring or migration to modern .NET, considered use of AI-assisted development tooling while retaining ownership of shipped work.
