Care workers keep our healthcare system running and often receive the least appreciation in return. We want to change that. Value is the employee app for care facilities: a bonus system and benefits, messenger and newsfeed, pulse surveys and health offers in one app. So that care workers enjoy staying in their jobs. Our app is constantly evolving, and that’s exactly why we’re looking for you: someone who combines native mobile development for iOS and Android with a good feel for UI/UX and product development. The focus of the role is clearly on development.

• Drive the further development and expansion of the Value app for iOS and Android using modern technologies
• Develop native apps with Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
• Conceive user-centered, individual and innovative features and implement them technically on both platforms
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code and continuously develop our technical architecture
• Work with REST APIs and support the technical integration of new product features
• Try out new technologies together as a team and find meaningful solutions to complex challenges
• Actively develop the user experience of our app, always thinking from the perspective of our users
• Conceive and design flows, screens and interactions
• Question existing features and identify opportunities for improvement
• Translate ideas and requirements into concrete product solutions together with the team
• Develop prototypes and UI concepts and then implement them yourself in the app
• Help shape a consistent and intuitive user experience across iOS and Android
• Think not only about how something should be implemented, but also why we are building it in the first place
• Bring your own ideas and have a genuine influence on how Value develops
• Work closely with the founders, development team and other team members
• Question existing solutions and develop new ones together with us
• Take your own product ideas from the first consideration through to the finished feature
• Help find out what our users really need and how we can build good digital products from that
• Actively and naturally use AI tools in your daily work, for example when developing, refactoring, debugging, testing, prototyping or developing new ideas

• You are enthusiastic about developing native iOS apps in Swift and Android apps in Kotlin
• You have relevant experience with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose
• You have a good feel for UI, UX and intuitive user journeys
• Ideally, you already have experience with UI/UX design, prototyping or design tools such as Figma
• Agile development, clean code, MVVM and dependency injection are familiar to you
• You have good knowledge of automated testing (UI and unit tests) and quality assurance
• Experience working with REST APIs is part of your technical toolkit
• You are interested not only in technology, but also in building good products
• You are keen to contribute your own ideas, take responsibility and help shape decisions
• You use AI tools naturally when developing, but are equally able to program without AI and critically evaluate technical output
• You enjoy solving complex problems and turning them into simple, intuitive solutions
• What you studied or what educational background you have is not so important to us. We are mainly interested in what you can do, how you think and what you would like to develop together with us.
• We believe that AI will sustainably change the way software is developed and products are designed.
• It is important to us that you not only know how to get AI to write code, but also understand what that code does and why it works.
• You should therefore be proficient in modern AI-assisted development workflows and also able to write, understand, debug and critically assess code independently.

• The position is part-time at 50% (20 hours per week). The salary is €32,500 gross per year.
