• Architect machine learning models for Generative AI-related research;
• Apply machine learning techniques within graphics technology;
• Drive sophisticated technical issues to resolution;
• Develop high-quality software using general development workflows and tools;
• Collaborate effectively with different teams across AMD.

• Passion for Generative AI, neural networks, and their application in graphics technology;
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence, especially model architecture;
• Expert programming skills in Python, C, and/or C++;
• Proficient in English;
• Strong object-oriented programming background;
• Understanding of model distillation;
• Understanding of image upscaling;
• Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs;
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills;
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
• Nice to have: Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems including Git, and profilers; experience coding with AI tools and agents; motivating leadership and good interpersonal skills.
