The company builds open-source technologies that power modern cloud infrastructure, including OpenStack and Ceph, for scalable cloud platforms across diverse computing environments.
задачи
Develop high-quality software and new features for OpenStack and Ceph deployment and management;
Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team to design effective technical solutions;
Review code from other engineers and provide constructive feedback;
Help ensure OpenStack and Ceph operate across multiple hardware architectures and computing environments;
Contribute to infrastructure automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Python and related technologies;
Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and collaborative problem-solving;
Travel internationally two to four times per year for internal and external events.
требования
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline;
Professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python;
Experience or demonstrated interest in at least two relevant technologies or domains, including Ubuntu Linux, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Ceph, AI/ML, QEMU/KVM, LXC/LXD, Go, C, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Debian packaging, or scalable web services;
Experience with OpenStack, OVN, Open vSwitch, or related cloud and infrastructure technologies;
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, debugging, code review, and collaborative development;
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a globally distributed organization;
Self-motivated, curious, flexible, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges;
Ability and willingness to travel internationally approximately two to four times per year, typically for one to two weeks at a time;
Nice to have: Experience with non-x86 architectures such as ARM64, s390, Power, or other architectures.
