• Manage product technical roadmaps and dependencies with PM and EM to minimise technical debt;
• Design, develop, and maintain high-availability, high-performance web applications;
• Demonstrate healthy engineering practices and ship clean, well-tested, and well-refactored code into production;
• Implement features and integrations with foundational models and automation systems for back-office teams;
• Optimize, measure, and monitor distributed systems to ensure continuous software delivery;
• Conduct code reviews, create technical documentation, and share knowledge to cultivate learning and avoid knowledge silos;
• Lead initiatives to improve company-wide engineering culture and multiply team and organisational effectiveness;
• Participate in recruitment and employer brand projects;
• Guide mid and senior engineers to milestone delivery by unblocking and mentoring.

• 5+ Years of experience building complex distributed systems in Java or/and Kotlin with Springboot/Spring AI;
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems principles, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and Microservices;
• Strong track record of applying Clean Code, TDD/BDD, and deep observability;
• Proven experience using AI coding agents critically without compromising code integrity or security;
• Solid experience designing and implementing robust REST APIs;
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL performance and scalability;
• DevOps mindset regarding CI/CD pipelines;
• Clear written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong ownership, independence, and ability to establish structures and processes in an evolving domain;
• Nice to have: AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Generative AI frameworks, Langchain, RAG pipelines.
