• Experience building and shipping consumer products used by real people;
• A track record of driving complex features end to end, beyond incremental improvements and refactoring;
• Previous founding or early startup experience;
• Strong coding skills and experience with agentic engineering;
• Ability to use available tools to move faster and get the job done;
• Design intuition and product taste;
• First-principles thinking;
• Focus on shipping valuable features rather than technical complexity for its own sake;
• Fluent English;
• Ability to write specifications and challenge them clearly;
• High autonomy and a proactive working style;
• Nice to have: founding engineer experience or early-stage startup experience, experience working without a specification, experience shipping consumer products with significant user impact.
