• Lead initiatives to design, build, and maintain scalable microservices primarily using Kotlin;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions across Platform, Services, SMB, and other domains;
• Analyze system performance and implement optimizations to ensure high reliability and scalability;
• Participate in code reviews and post-mortems;
• Mentor and upskill other engineers;
• Improve the architecture and quality of solutions;
• Lead the team through technical challenges and migrations.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience;
• Demonstrate expertise in server-side languages, especially Kotlin;
• Have experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud environments such as AWS and Kubernetes;
• Be proficient with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, testing frameworks such as JUnit and Testcontainers, and observability tools such as Grafana;
• Have strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset;
• Have very good English proficiency at a minimum B2 level;
• Reside in Poland;
• Nice to have: previous work in the fintech industry or with financial products, knowledge of payments, cards, or accounting, experience in a scale-up environment, proficiency in React or TypeScript.
