kotlin backend developer for a pharmacy marketplace

Onfy is a German pharmacy marketplace founded in 2021. Its online platform enables consumers to order health products from several pharmacies at once with low prices and fast delivery.

• Build and maintain a fast, reliable backend;
• Solve scaling challenges;
• Own complex technical areas;

• Own platform architecture;
• Contribute to product discussions;
• Work across platform boundaries when this brings value to the product;
• Apply AI tools to improve development speed, quality, and decision-making.

• 5+ Years of backend engineering experience in production environments;
• 3+ Years of recent experience with Kotlin or another JVM language;
• Strong software architecture skills;
• Expertise in relational DBMS, including PostgreSQL schema design and safe migrations;
• Proven experience in customer-facing product development;
• Experience with AI tools and modern AI practices;
• Strong written and spoken English;
• Nice to have: experience as a tech lead or engineering team lead, AWS / Kubernetes experience, observability mindset with metrics and logging, experience with analytics workloads using Spark / Scala, full-stack experience especially with React.
