java developer in trading infrastructure

• Design and develop microservices in Java 17 or later as part of the backend system;
• Maintain and enhance existing Java libraries and internal frameworks;
• Troubleshoot and improve the performance and reliability of backend services;
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests;
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams;
• Stay up to date with the latest Java technologies and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• 5+ Years of experience in Java development;
• Understanding of software design principles and patterns;
• Knowledge of concurrent techniques, including blocking, CAS, Future/Promise, and Actors;
• Understanding of the Java Memory Model and GC principles;
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture;
• Experience with binary protocols such as gRPC;
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and message brokers such as Kafka;
• Experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Micronaut, and Quarkus, and related libraries;
• Experience building cloud platforms using EKS, GCP, and Kubernetes;
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
• Fluency in both Russian and English;
• Nice to have: experience with NoSQL databases such as Redis, Cassandra, and ClickHouse, knowledge of Scala.
