• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java;
• Create and support scalable REST APIs and microservices;
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers to deliver new functionalities;
• Help design reliable, secure, and high-performing systems;
• Work within Agile teams and contribute through CI/CD-based delivery processes;
• Perform code reviews, implement automated testing, and assist with production support;
• Drive improvements in development standards, tooling, and overall code quality.

• 6 Years of experience;
• Proven commercial experience with Java versions 8, 11, or 17+;
• Strong expertise in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks;
• Practical experience with RESTful services and microservices-based systems;
• Knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle;
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and Maven or Gradle;
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments;
• Strong English communication skills;
• Nice to have: experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with Kafka or MQ, background in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.

• The client requires a visit to the Kraków office 8 times per month;
• Technical interview with external company (Karat);
• 1.5-Hour technical interview at the end client office;
• Cultural fit interview;
• If a candidate successfully completes the recruitment process, identification verification will be required prior to employment, including a one-time online inspection of a government-issued photo ID;
• Background check possible;
• Client has the right to require MTA (Mandatory Time Away) for up to 10 days per year, usually in December.
