• Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architecture, microservices design pitfalls, and best practices;
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architecture principles;
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps pipelines, Scrum, and Kanban;
• Proficiency in shift-left testing with JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin, PACT, and Test Containers;
• Working knowledge of Kafka and MQ;
• Advanced Java 17+ and practical experience with Spring Boot;
• Strong object-oriented programming skills;
• Experience developing RESTful services with REST design principles, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Spring REST MVC;
• Experience building enterprise-grade Java applications;
• Hands-on experience with data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and multi-threading;
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases such as Postgres;
• Working knowledge of AWS S3, AWS Aurora, MSK, IAM, Flyway, and Liquibase;
• Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts;
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, interoperability protocols, cross-chain communication, bridging technologies, security considerations, token standards, and transaction lifecycles;
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams in scaled agile environments;
• Delivery-focused, accountable, collaborative, communicative, quality-driven, adaptable, innovative, critical, respectful, and passionate about solving problems and minimizing complexity;
• Nice to have: GitLab experience, AWS experience.
