Java developer in cards and payments

For our Client in the banking industry, we are looking for a Java Developer to work on a project in the cards and payments area. This role is for someone who enjoys creating solid business logic and polished APIs, pays attention to solution performance, and cares about code quality within the team. If you feel at home in the Spring Boot ecosystem and want to develop systems used by bank customers every day, this role is for you.

• Designing and implementing business logic for systems that handle cards and payments
• Creating and developing REST APIs in accordance with the OpenAPI 3 specification
• Analyzing application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements
• Writing automated tests and ensuring code quality, readability, and maintainability
• Participating in code reviews and sharing good practices within the team

• At least 3 years of commercial experience programming in Java (versions 17–21)
• Practical knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot 4.x, as well as Maven and Lombok
• Experience creating RESTful APIs and working with the OpenAPI 3 specification
• Ability to analyze and improve application performance
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL, especially PostgreSQL, as well as Flyway and jOOQ
• Experience writing automated tests in Spock and Groovy
• Confidence using software development tools: IntelliJ IDEA, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, ELK
• Knowledge of containerization and deployment automation using Docker, Ansible, and OpenShift
• Polish language proficiency at C1 level
