Java developer for web applications

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot to join our dynamic development team for large companies present in the Lisboa area. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, modern Java technologies, and best development practices.

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, maintainable Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions;
• Write efficient, well-tested, and reusable code;
• Architect and implement microservices and RESTful APIs;
• Work on backend integration with databases, front-end systems, and other services;
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle;
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design;
• Continuously improve development processes, including CI/CD, testing, and release management;

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Java Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot and related technologies;
• Strong understanding of Java programming, object-oriented principles, and design patterns;
• Proficiency in working with databases such as Python; SpringBoot; JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
