• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services;
• Develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot;
• Contribute to scalable and reliable microservices;
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices;
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues;
• Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability;
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes;
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot;
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development;
• Knowledge of microservices architecture principles;
• Experience with Git and Maven;
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB;
• Understanding of unit and integration testing, such as JUnit and Mockito;
• Understanding of Clean Code principles and software design fundamentals;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills;
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously develop technical skills;
• Nice to have: exposure to Docker and containerized applications, basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP, familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
