• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications supporting savings and investment products;
• Build and enhance calculation engines ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple countries;
• Develop solutions supporting complex business processes, tax authority integrations, and customer-facing reporting;
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment;
• Collaborate with financial analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Mentor developers and act as a code reviewer and design sparring partner;
• Promote practical engineering practices across the development team;
• Use AI-assisted development and automation responsibly to improve productivity, quality, and learning;
• Contribute strong collaboration and analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges.

• Strong experience in Java 21 and Java-based application development;
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks;
• Proven experience with relational databases and PostgreSQL SQL;
• Practical experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ, or similar protocols;
• Strong proficiency in Java frameworks including Spring and Hibernate;
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data;
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines;
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
