Hubject develops ideas and delivers solutions for the eMobility market. Its intercharge eRoaming platform connects Charge Point Operators and eMobility Service Providers, providing standardized access to electric vehicle charging infrastructure across networks. Hubject also advises automotive manufacturers, charging providers, and other EV-related businesses on launching eMobility services and implementing Plug&Charge with ISO 15118.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and microservices for the global automotive and eMobility sector;
• Write clean, secure, well-tested, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices and design patterns;
• Take full ownership of features and components, driving implementation independently from development through delivery;
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions;
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and timely delivery of global systems;
• Improve existing applications through monitoring, optimization, updates, security patches, and production troubleshooting;
• Support operational excellence through proactive monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis;
• Contribute to the team's success with an entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility in solving technical challenges, and commitment to exceptional user experiences.

• At least 4+ years of professional experience in Java development;
• Experience building and maintaining complex, scalable software systems;
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and microservice architectures;
• Experience with cloud-native development on AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS;
• Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with tools such as JUnit and Mockito;
• Experience with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles, including OWASP, authentication and authorization, and data protection;
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, matrix organizations;
• Ability to work closely with product and business stakeholders;
• Goal-oriented, structured, and detail-focused mindset;
• Strong sense of ownership and passion for teamwork;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: knowledge of OCPI, OCPP, or OICP, openness to international collaboration, new technologies, and eMobility.
