Salmon is a fintech company reshaping banking in the Philippines through modern financial services. It operates as a licensed neobank and aims to become a financial super app for millions of Filipinos.

• Collaborate with a team to develop and enhance platform solutions for banking products;
• Build scalable microservices in the JVM environment using Spring Boot;
• Implement event-driven architecture with a focus on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and eventual consistency;
• Build and maintain reliable, scalable APIs and services;
• Contribute to internal SDKs and frameworks to streamline service usage;
• Integrate with other platforms and services in a scalable manner;
• Assist in the development and scaling of banking and partner platforms.

• Have 3+ years of software development experience within the JVM environment;
• Have strong Java knowledge;
• Have experience using Spring Boot in a microservices environment;
• Have proven experience working in an agile setup with continuous deployment and delivery practices;
• Have expertise in event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, and ensuring eventual consistency;
• Have a collaborative mindset and a passion for knowledge sharing within the team;
• Have experience with containerization and container orchestration in a cloud environment;
• Nice to have: Good knowledge of Kotlin, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS, building publicly available APIs and services, developing SDKs and frameworks, integrating platforms and services at scale, building and scaling banking platforms and partner ecosystems, familiarity with building BPM solutions using Camunda.
