• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Develop new features and scalable Java applications using Java 6/8, JavaFX, and Swing.
• Maintain, support, and optimize existing applications in a complex IT environment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other teams.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable software delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation, development best practices, and architectural decisions.
• Install and deploy new software versions in an on-premise environment.
• Ensure compliance with clean code principles, SOLID, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with multiple teams working on a shared backlog within a LeSS environment.
• Coach junior and mid-level developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation after completing the necessary training.

• 10–15 years of proven experience as a Java Developer.
• Mandatory knowledge of Java 6 and Java 8.
• Hands-on experience with JavaFX and Swing.
• Strong experience in technical analysis and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience developing scalable and efficient Java applications.
• Solid knowledge of application maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience with automated testing and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software deployment and release management in on-premise environments.
• Strong understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, and security best practices.
• Experience working in a LeSS environment or coordinating multiple teams working on a shared backlog.
• Fluency in Dutch or French, combined with very good English (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to integrate easily into an existing team and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
• Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation after comprehensive training.
