Salt develops software and IT services, including a shared native iOS library used across consumer-facing applications by millions of users.

• Maintain, enhance, and support the shared iOS library used by front-end teams to send events to the backend;
• Lead iOS technical direction and architecture for the mobile library;
• Define standards and best practices for a large-scale, consumer-facing codebase;
• Design and implement robust, production-quality Swift code for internet-scale traffic and major traffic events;
• Collaborate with the Android core engineer and backend partners on consistent cross-platform architecture and migrations;
• Own onboarding and provide technical leadership and mentorship to mobile engineers working with the library;
• Participate in incident response and the on-call rotation for the mobile app and library;
• Align roadmaps and deliverables with product teams, engineering managers, and the mobile guild;
• Contribute to the Perl-to-Java backend migration as it affects mobile integrations and architecture.

• 10–12+ Years of professional native iOS development experience with Swift;
• Objective-C or hybrid stacks are not acceptable substitutes;
• Deep expertise in writing scalable, maintainable Swift code for consumer-facing apps;
• Proven experience defining mobile architecture and setting technical direction for other engineers;
• Experience working on libraries or platform components consumed by other product teams;
• Strong stakeholder management, cross-team communication, and ownership skills;
• Experience with on-call responsibilities and production incident management;
• Comfortable working in a product environment with high traffic and reliability expectations;
• Nice to have: experience contributing to or owning shared mobile libraries/frameworks, experience with large-scale mobile telemetry/event pipelines or analytics libraries, prior experience participating in backend migration projects or coordinating mobile changes driven by backend platform migrations, familiarity with Kotlin/Android architecture.

• €100 - €120 Per hour;
• 6-Month contract;
