Bees & Bears is a Climate FinTech that helps customers finance climate hardware installations, including solar systems, energy storage, and heat pumps, through monthly installments. Its platform provides the technical and financial foundation for accelerating the energy transition.

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines across all core systems;
• Design and implement the company data warehouse from the ground up;
• Integrate data from internal systems, APIs, and third-party tools;
• Ensure data reliability, consistency, and accessibility across the company;
• Enable teams with clean, structured data for faster and better decision-making;
• Define data ownership, naming conventions, and quality standards that scale;
• Work with Engineering, Product, Risk, Finance, and leadership to understand data needs and ensure teams can use the data.

• Strong SQL and Python skills, including complex queries and automated data workflows;
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines end to end;
• Experience setting up data warehouses and data modeling;
• Ability to work independently and build systems from scratch;
• Nice to have: experience with dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, or BigQuery; startup or high-growth environment experience; collaboration with Product, Risk, or Finance teams; BI tools and dashboarding; basic understanding of financial data or fintech processes; data quality, testing, and monitoring frameworks; data privacy and security requirements.
