• Implement data ingestion (real-time and batch) using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes leveraging Azure technologies;
• Design, build, and maintain data transformation pipelines and notebooks, consolidating various data sources into Data Lakes and Data Warehouses;
• Collaborate with engineers to adopt best practices in data system creation, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation;
• Develop prototype or proof of concept implementations for projects with unknown or unproven technical solutions;
• Build interactive reports for internal and customer consumption.

• Experience in software development, data engineering, or data analytics;
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure);
• Proficiency in at least one major language (Python, Spark SQL, or Scala) and SQL;
• Experience with streaming and batch data tools such as Spark and Airflow;
• Data warehousing experience working with MS Fabric or similar;
• Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI;
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to derive clarity in ambiguous environments;
• Nice to have: Experience using mirroring or other replication tools.
