• Act as a crucial member of a small cross-functional squad;
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Tech Lead during roadmap discussions;
• Contribute to Scrum rituals, process maturity improvements, and engineering best-practice initiatives;
• Provide input during Refinement and Solution Design sessions;
• Lead feature development independently;
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback;
• Monitor quality standards and recommend engineering or process improvements;
• Provide technical and soft guidance to Junior engineers;
• Participate in Mentorship Programs;
• Join cross-squad Backend Guild brainstorming and problem-solving sessions;
• Propose and own technical initiatives to improve performance, scale, and maintenance.

• 6+ Years of experience as a Backend Developer focused on Golang;
• In-depth knowledge of REST API design, PostgreSQL, and testing techniques;
• Experience building scalable, maintainable, and performant large-scale applications;
• Experience designing and developing complex monolithic and microservice architectures;
• Strong inclination toward modern practices, including pair programming, unit and integration testing, AI and automation adoption, refactoring, SOLID principles, security best practices, documentation as code, and regular knowledge sharing;
• Ability to collaborate with non-developers to clarify requirements and plan projects with consideration for overall business and product impact;
• Proactive and constructive approach to supporting and mentoring junior team members;
• Willingness to learn about and contribute to the whole stack;
• Team-first attitude and empathy for customers and colleagues.
