It provides financial institutions with a secure rules and orchestration engine for designing, launching, and scaling hyper-personalised Smart Accounts while preserving stability, compliance, and control. • Contribute to the ongoing development of Hyperlayer's flagship programmable banking platform;
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs in Go;
• Contribute to the architecture of new features and services;
• Write clean, well-tested, idiomatic Go code and participate in code reviews;
• Build resilient, decoupled services using event-driven and asynchronous patterns;
• Design and evolve relational data models and queries for performance and correctness at scale;
• Support the operational health of owned production services, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response;
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate requirements into technical designs;
• Collaborate with DevOps and Platform teams on deployment, containerisation, and infrastructure;
• Contribute to technical decisions, documentation, and engineering best practices.

• Strong professional experience building backend services in Go (Golang), including concurrency and Go idioms;
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and/or microservices in production;
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including schema design and efficient queries;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern CI/CD practices;
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams;
• Nice to have: experience with message queuing or event streaming technologies such as Kafka, prior experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated high-reliability environment.
