Verda is building a fully featured European cloud computing platform for running, scaling, and deploying applications and workloads. Its infrastructure operates on 100% renewable energy.

• Shape how Verda’s IAM platform evolves and extends across its diverse product portfolio;
• Work on large-scale resource planning systems and internal tooling, contributing to codebases across multiple services and products;
• Collaborate with SRE engineers and the data center team to build APIs for fast and robust resource provisioning;
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and deployments;
• Apply information security principles to engineering decisions;
• Communicate with internal team leads and other stakeholders.

• 3–5 Years of experience as a Back-end engineer;
• Strong knowledge of IAM and related technologies, including OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT, RBAC, ReBAC, MFA, TOTP, Passkeys, and FIDO2;
• Proficiency with Go, including web APIs, concurrency, performance optimization, and caching;
• Experience with TypeScript, Node, and React;
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining microservice architectures and workflows;
• Proficiency with SQL databases and scalable data models, including familiarity with Go database tooling;
• Experience maintaining public RESTful APIs;
• TDD-based way of working with testcontainers-like test setups rather than mocking with interfaces;
• Nice to have: experience with workload/machine identities or service accounts, familiarity with Kubernetes and DevOps practices.

• The role requires presence in the Helsinki or London office 3 days per week.
