golang developer for API platforms

Leaseweb provides hosting services through an API that powers its websites, dashboards, and internal and external applications. Its Product Engineering organization operates in small scrum teams with end-to-end responsibility for specific products or architectural areas.

• Apply Golang specialization to support operations and R&D;
• Define, architect, and review new APIs with different product teams;
• Interact with the developer community;
• Represent Leaseweb API and participate in developer events to improve the API;
• Design, implement, and support applications, tools, and platforms for development teams and customers;
• Support platforms such as authentication and abuse platforms.

• At least 5 years of software development experience;
• Experience with API development;
• Demonstrable programming skills with a strong preference for Golang;
• Experience building libraries and/or SDKs;
• Knowledge of software architecture setup;
• Demonstrable Linux knowledge;
• Knowledge of version control systems, including Git;
• Strong problem analysis and conceptual thinking;
• Drive to improve quality and prevent incidents;
• Excellent communication skills;
• English is a must;
• Nice to have: PHP experience, knowledge of creating a Terraform plugin, knowledge of OAuth2 protocol, experience with Agile development methods such as scrum, Dutch.
