Andersen is developing a global digital platform for the insurance and assistance industry. The platform supports travel, automotive, health, and assistance services through scalable solutions that improve customer experience and streamline business operations.

• Build and evolve a real-time cross-selling platform with real-time data flows and personalized insurance offers;
• Own the backend powering multiple user-facing applications and advance the gRPC-based microservice architecture;
• Design and maintain REST/gRPC APIs for integrations with insurance platforms and third-party services;
• Model and manage transactional PostgreSQL data, including policies, claims, customer records, and audit trails;
• Implement event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ or Kafka for claims events, policy updates, and notifications;
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, especially for monetary calculations and claims and premium accuracy;
• Instrument services with Grafana and Prometheus to monitor critical flows and proactively detect issues;
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high platform and codebase quality;
• Take a proactive role in platform design and development, focusing on scalability, availability, and resilience;
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum framework;
• Translate evolving business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions;
• Contribute to architectural decisions balancing flexibility, maintainability, and fault tolerance.

• 5+ Years of commercial development experience, including 3+ years working with Go in production;
• Higher education in Computer Science or software development;
• Extensive experience working with AI and implementing or configuring it within a team;
• Experience in fintech or banking and with complex integrations;
• Strong hands-on Go experience, including goroutines and channels;
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade gRPC microservice architectures;
• Experience containerizing and deploying backend services;
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design, query optimization, and database migrations;
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka for event-driven and asynchronous communication;
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs;
• Practical experience writing unit and integration tests for backend services;
• Experience instrumenting services with Grafana and Prometheus, including metrics, monitoring, and alerting;
• Experience designing scalable, highly available systems for high-throughput, real-time workloads;
• Active participation in code reviews with a focus on code quality and knowledge sharing;
• Ownership mindset with end-to-end responsibility for backend components throughout their lifecycle;
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
• Strong understanding of fault-tolerant system design, idempotency, SLA considerations, and service reliability;
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above;
• Nice to have: insurance or other regulated-domain experience, familiarity with GDPR and PCI DSS, understanding of insurance concepts including policies, underwriting, and claims lifecycle.
