EMCD is a global crypto ecosystem building products across mining, wallets, payments, custody, and digital asset infrastructure.

• Build new backend services in Go and improve existing products
• Integrate external providers via REST and internal services via gRPC and Kafka
• Refactor legacy services to reduce support costs, simplify architecture, remove technical debt, and improve test coverage
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and security for financial flows
• Support production systems, investigate incidents, and track the operation lifecycle end to end
• Provide technical mentorship within the team

• Production experience with money operations in fintech or crypto, including holds, debits, credits, balances, transaction lifecycle, and reconciliation
• Strong understanding of safely storing and moving money between systems, including decimal precision, operation keys, idempotency, consistency, and auditability
• Strong production experience with Go, PostgreSQL, gRPC or REST, and Kafka
• Hands-on experience applying microservice patterns to financial systems, including Saga, compensation, distributed transactions, outbox, idempotent consumers, and reconciliation loops
• Experience integrating external providers via REST, including timeouts, provider-side statuses, delayed reversals, and reconciliation between both sides
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge beyond CRUD, including transactions, isolation levels, unique constraints, locks, indexes, and EXPLAIN
• Strong Kafka knowledge, including partitions, consumer groups, offsets, rebalancing, delivery guarantees, ordering, and safe horizontal scaling
• Active use of AI agents in development and practical understanding of spec-driven workflows and harness building
