• Architect and evolve distributed systems powering real-time advertising decisions
• Define service boundaries, concurrency models, and runtime optimizations for Go microservices
• Establish organization-wide standards for event streaming, schema evolution, and CDC patterns
• Standardize data patterns across distributed storage and lead zero-downtime database migrations and deprecations
• Partner with the Data Science team to build runtime infrastructure for predictive models and machine learning algorithms in the real-time ad targeting engine
• Drive alignment across squads through RFCs and Architecture Decision Records
• Define organization-level SLIs/SLOs and sponsor major technical migrations
• Mentor Senior engineers

• 7+ Years of backend development experience, including deep production Go expertise in distributed environments
• Extensive experience architecting asynchronous microservice communication using Kafka, SQS/SNS, or Kinesis
• Experience with database internals, distributed storage trade-offs, and low-level web standards
• Strong understanding of distributed systems trade-offs and applied mathematics
• Fluent spoken and written English
