• Design and build new capabilities for the core messaging platform;
• Improve platform performance and reliability;
• Solve complex engineering problems at scale;
• Contribute to low-latency messaging, Pub / Sub services, state synchronisation and AI communication infrastructure;
• Deliver production-grade software used by developers globally;
• Use modern AI tools to accelerate development while retaining ownership of architecture, code quality and technical decisions.

• Strong backend development experience with Go, Node.js or another modern server-side language;
• Experience building or operating distributed systems, messaging platforms, event-driven architectures or streaming technologies;
• Understanding of scalability, concurrency, performance optimisation and fault-tolerant system design;
• Experience with Pub / Sub messaging;
• Ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality, production-ready software;
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced engineering environment;
• Willingness to use modern AI development tools while maintaining strong engineering quality;
• Nice to have: experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, streaming systems, developer platforms or cloud infrastructure.
