Go Developer

1inch is a DeFi ecosystem that builds financial infrastructure for digital asset trading, tracking, and management. The platform provides protocols and APIs designed to offer secure, self-custodial, and intuitive experiences for users and developers within the decentralized finance industry.

• Own the technical design and micro-architecture of backend services within the team’s domain;
• Lead technical planning, implementation decisions, and architecture reviews;
• Establish engineering standards, coding practices, and backend architecture patterns;
• Balance feature delivery with long-term maintainability, reliability, and technical debt reduction;
• Act as the primary technical quality gate for production changes;
• Write production code in Go and TypeScript for approximately 50-80% of the time;
• Design, build, and operate scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend services across their full lifecycle;
• Build backend systems that integrate with smart contracts, blockchain infrastructure, and Web3 services;
• Design and operate blockchain indexing and data processing systems supporting routing, pricing, execution, portfolio, and analytics capabilities;
• Lead AI-first engineering practices while mentoring engineers and partnering with cross-functional teams.

• 6+ Years of professional backend software engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities;
• Expert-level experience building backend systems with Go and strong professional experience with TypeScript;
• Deep expertise designing and operating distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native platforms;
• Strong experience building secure, scalable, and highly available production systems;
• Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, blockchain indexing, and Web3 backend development;
• Extensive practical experience using Cursor AI or comparable AI-native engineering environments;
• Proven experience applying AI-assisted engineering across architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review;
• Experience designing or scaling agentic software delivery workflows and helping engineering teams adopt AI effectively;
• Understanding of how AI can accelerate software delivery without compromising engineering quality, security, or maintainability;
• Excellent system design, communication, and technical leadership skills;
• Nice to have: Experience with MCP-based engineering workflows, experience building internal AI engineering platforms or developer productivity tooling, experience with multiple blockchain ecosystems beyond EVM, experience with Terraform, Kubernetes or advanced cloud-native infrastructure, cloud, Kubernetes, security or blockchain certifications.
