Fullstack python developer for underwriting

We are looking for a Full Stack Python/AI Developer with production experience delivering agent- and LLM-based systems to join a newly formed cross-functional team responsible for transforming underwriting processes through the use of artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.

• Building the Underwriter OS application: Next.js/React frontend, FastAPI/Python backend
• Integrating agents with the application (e.g. extending the LangChain/LangGraph orchestrator that coordinates agent runs)
• Integrating with the policy administration system, rating engines, DMS, CRM, broker portal, and Outlook
• Deploying to Azure using containers and CI/CD
• Building and orchestrating AI agents:
• Transforming underwriting guidelines into instructions for AI agents
• Building a process for extracting data from broker documents

• At least 2 years of experience in Data Science / AI, including at least 1 year of production deployments
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
• Good knowledge of React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI
• Good knowledge of Azure Blob Storage, Document Intelligence, and AI Foundry
• Good knowledge of LangGraph or similar orchestration tools, prompt engineering, and context engineering
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases
• Practical experience with MLOps (Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Experience with the Azure cloud platform
• Understanding of AI Governance and AI Act requirements
• A bachelor's or higher degree in a technical field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering)
