Fullstack developer in billing

Toggle is a product company building eSIM and VPN solutions for global connectivity across all major platforms, including mobile, desktop, and TV. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our Billing team and grow into a Lead role within 3–6 months. You will take full technical ownership of Billing, including web payments (Stripe, Solidgate), subscription logic, and integrations with marketing and analytics platforms such as Voluum, Google Analytics, Meta, and others.

• take full technical ownership of the Billing domain, including architecture, quality, stability, releases, and technical debt across payment, subscription, and analytics infrastructure
• build and improve technical processes within the team, including coding and code review standards, testing, releases, incident management, task estimation and breakdown, and technical documentation
• lead and mentor developers in the team: assign and prioritize tasks, run 1:1 meetings, evaluate performance, and take part in hiring and onboarding
• work closely with the Product Manager on delivery estimates, risks, the technical roadmap, and technical debt priorities
• make key architectural decisions and perform code reviews
• work with other teams and departments, including Marketing, other Web teams, QA, Finance, and Support, as well as payment providers, on Billing-related technical topics
• develop and maintain payment integrations with Stripe and Solidgate, including checkout, recurring payments, webhooks, and payment issue troubleshooting
• develop and improve subscription logic, including renewals, upgrades, cancellations, refunds, and access management
• integrate marketing analytics systems such as Voluum, Google Analytics, Meta CAPI, and Amplitude, and ensure events and data are tracked correctly
• integrate with external services and APIs
• develop new backend features and maintain existing code using NestJS
• develop and maintain payment flows across the frontend and backend using React, Next.js, and NestJS
• build and improve marketing web funnels
• develop and maintain websites using headless CMS platforms such as Strapi and Payload
• investigate payment and analytics incidents using logs and monitoring tools such as Datadog
• write E2E and unit tests for new features and improve test coverage as part of technical debt work

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• strong experience with NestJS, TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• experience with payment systems and web payments (Stripe, Solidgate, or similar), including subscriptions, webhooks, and recurring payments
• experience with marketing analytics and tracking platforms such as Voluum, Google Analytics/Ads, Meta, or similar
• technical leadership experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or informal team lead, including architectural decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and building development processes
• experience designing backend systems and architecture
• knowledge of PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Docker
• written English — B1 level or higher
• ownership mindset: taking responsibility for the whole technical domain, not just your own tasks
• a practical approach to building and improving development processes
• comfortable combining technical leadership with hands-on development and managing priorities effectively
• clear communication with Product, Marketing, and other teams, including turning business requirements into technical tasks and explaining technical limitations
• attention to detail, especially when working with payments and financial data
