Nova Hunte offers a long-term contract opportunity with a leading client in Brussels, Belgium.

• Develop and maintain full stack applications across front-end and back-end technologies;
• Build and integrate REST APIs and web services;
• Design and optimise database schemas and queries;
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments;
• Implement security standards for APIs and web services;
• Work with modern development practices and build tools;
• Collaborate using Git workflows and version control systems.

• 3+ Years of experience in full stack development;
• Strong proficiency in Java;
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate;
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML and CSS;
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, Vue and Bootstrap;
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and web services;
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle;
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB;
• Knowledge of database schema design and query optimisation;
• Experience with Git workflows such as GitFlow and trunk-based development;
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure;
• Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments;
• Experience designing, building and securing RESTful APIs and web services;
• Knowledge of authentication and authorisation standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT;
• EU citizenship required due to security clearance;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: Experience with Node.js and/or PHP, knowledge of modern build tools including Webpack and Vite, understanding of legacy systems using SVN, experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and Azure Bicep, knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger, knowledge of Docker, experience with Kubernetes for application development and deployment.
