full stack developer for omnichannel retail platforms

The client is a technology and retail group operating an omnichannel platform that supports e-commerce, trade-in, point-of-sale, and integrations with core retail and wholesale systems.

• Design and develop complex features across web front-end applications and backend services
• Deliver scalable, reliable solutions using React / Angular, .NET / C# and Node.js
• Own feature- and component-level technical design within established architectural standards
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations connecting web applications with core business systems
• Work with enterprise platforms including ERP, OMS, WMS and CRM systems
• Contribute to solutions supporting high-volume retail and e-commerce environments
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering and coding standards across the development team
• Develop secure, maintainable and well-tested software
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and participate in production incident resolution
• Improve performance, scalability and reliability, particularly during peak trading periods and major product launches
• Participate in backlog refinement, estimation and Agile ceremonies
• Work closely with Engineering Leads, Solution Architects, product teams and other technical stakeholders
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers and provide technical guidance to the wider development team
• Identify opportunities to improve development practices, architecture and software quality

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• 5–8+ Years of professional software development experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex features end-to-end
• Strong full-stack development experience across modern web and backend technologies
• Hands-on experience with React and/or Angular
• Strong backend experience with .NET / C# and/or Node.js
• Experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with third-party or enterprise systems
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and modern engineering practices
• Strong understanding of software performance, scalability, reliability and security
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
