ALGOTEQUE is an IT consultancy firm that helps startups, mid-sized companies, and large corporations create and deliver innovative technologies. It designs, develops, implements, and integrates AI, ML, BI, web, and automation solutions for multiple industries.

• Audit the existing system and assess its technical state;
• Design the application architecture and set the direction for its development;
• Refactor, rebuild, and industrialise the solution through hands-on coding;
• Make technical decisions about what to keep, refactor, or rebuild and identify production risks;
• Build a professional engineering process around AI-assisted development.

• Very strong TypeScript skills, ideally across the full stack;
• Very good Node.js and backend skills;
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend development;
• Very good SQL, PostgreSQL, and database design skills;
• Experience refactoring and taking over an existing codebase;
• Ability to assess and design application architecture;
• Experience with automated testing;
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub, and branching/release processes;
• Experience with cloud, deployment, and infrastructure;
• Knowledge of application security and authentication/authorization;
• Experience integrating with external APIs;
• Knowledge of monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery;
• Very good English;
• Nice to have: Experience with Stripe, experience with AI-assisted development using Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
