full stack developer for insurance automation

The project focuses on AI-driven automation in the insurance domain, specifically building a system for submission processing and document automation.

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python;
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Design systems to reduce risks related to availability, latency, and efficiency;
• Work with relational and non-relational databases and optimize performance;
• Contribute to architectural discussions with a focus on scalability and maintainability;
• Support CI/CD processes and production deployments;
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code;
• Apply AI technologies including GPT, OCR / Document Intelligence, Azure AI Services, and Vector stores to build automation solutions for insurance processes;
• Apply Prompt Engineering techniques in real-world use cases;
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker / Container Apps and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines;
• Apply SRE best practices, define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets;
• Implement observability through monitoring, logging, and tracing, and automate operational processes to reduce manual effort.

• 5+ Years of experience in Python development;
• Commercial experience with Angular or React;
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, and Flask;
• Experience with REST APIs and API documentation tools such as Swagger;
• Experience designing and maintaining production-grade systems;
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB;
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Prompt Engineering, GPT, OCR / Document Intelligence, Azure AI Services, and Vector stores;
• Understanding of SLIs/SLOs, reliability principles, and system performance, scalability, and availability;
• Experience working in Agile environments;
• English level Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher;
• Nice to have: Experience with high-load systems, knowledge of asynchronous programming, experience with message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, understanding of DevOps practice, background in Insurance domain.

• Work remotely from Ukraine;
• Schedule: 5 am–1 pm EST (11:00–20:00 Kyiv time).
