full stack developer for HRIS platforms

Vention develops a multi-tenant, cloud-based HRIS platform covering payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and core HR products.

• Develop new features and enhance existing HRIS functionality;
• Build backend components using Java and Spring;
• Develop and modernize user interfaces with Angular;
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to production release;
• Take ownership of testing and verify solutions using a shift-left approach;
• Work with relational databases and SQL as part of product development;
• Contribute to planning, estimation, code reviews, and other Agile team activities;
• Use GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and other AI tools to improve development quality and productivity.

• 3+ Years of professional software development experience;
• Hands-on full-stack software development experience;
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring;
• Experience developing frontend applications with Angular or React;
• Understanding of modern web application architecture and development practices;
• Quality-focused mindset and ownership of testing;
• Ability to work effectively within a distributed Agile team;
• Willingness to use modern AI tools in day-to-day development;
• Nice to have: experience with relational databases and SQL, knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL, experience developing multi-tenant cloud SaaS solutions, familiarity with HRIS platforms or other human resources technology products.
